Describe an animal! How about donkey banana? That’s not an animal. Pfff!

For the last year or so I have left cycling research and I turned my attention to larger-scale global mobilities with a very exciting pan-European Horizon 2020 project, MiCreate. I had the privilege to work with an amazing team at Manchester Metropolitan University and the chance to do fieldwork in two schools in Manchester, one primary, another one secondary. The scope: researching, from a child-centred perspective, how pupils with migrant background integrate into their schools and the wider society.

We are currently writing up reports and papers, but in the meantime, we’ve set up a blog to share our reflections on what’s it like to be a migrant child in 2020 United Kingdom. You can check two of my blog posts here and here.
